Ifergan, David
Son of Nissim and Simi. He was born on August 18, 1952 in Mogador, Morocco. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1956. He completed his studies at the Alumim elementary school in Dimona and studied for one year at the vocational school at the Dimona youth center. He was particularly interested in the technical fields and at the end of ninth grade worked as a locksmith in various places. David was a serious guy with a positive attitude toward life, honest and conscientious. He loved to help others and was kind to his friends. David took care of his family, was loyal and devoted to his parents and helped his sister greatly. Every holiday he made sure to come home and help his parents. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1973 and assigned to the Armament Corps. At first, his enlistment was postponed due to medical reasons, but David insisted on serving in the IDF, and after several months of basic training he was sent to serve in Jerusalem. Southern Command On March 27, 1975, he fell during his service, was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Dimona, and left behind his parents and sister in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family: “Corporal David Ifergan contributed greatly And added to the unit’s reputation. David was a devoted and responsible soldier who spared no effort. “His parents donated a Torah scroll to his memory.
