Ido, Yigal

Son of Sarah and Yehia was born on August 12, 1961 in Pardes Hannah, to a traditional family of Yemenite origin, who began his studies in the Talmud Torah in his moshav and after eight years of study he moved to Midrashet Noam. On 7 October 1981, his platoon carried out live assault. During the training, Yigal was hit by a bullet fired from a machine gun and died of blood loss before he could receive treatment. Yigal was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Pardes Hanna. Survived by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
