Hovara, Haim

Son of Yosef and Shoshana. He was born in the city of Sana’a in Yemen in 1925. He was one of the first volunteers to serve as a member of the Hashomer Hatzair movement and was drafted into the IDF in September 1950. In the course of his duties, on the 24th of Adar Alef 5761 (March 2, 1951), fell and was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. He left a wife and a child. In 1966 his father published a book in his memory called “Hachlil Kadmonim”.
