Son of-Miriam and Moshe Yechiel was born on February 23, 1920, in the city of Debrecen, Hungary, where he studied in the community school and high school, and in 1939 he immigrated to Israel and went to agricultural training in Tel Adashim. – In the year 1942, he joined the British Army and was injured and lost three fingers of his left hand, while he continued to serve in the army, and in Italy he took part in the activities of our soldiers to help She’erith Hapleitah and immigrate to Eretz Israel. Because of the shock he was in, he could not do agricultural work and went to work as concrete in the buildings in the city, and in December 1947 volunteered for the Hagana, And later served in the Givati Brigade, and despite the shock in his hand, he was known as a talented and dedicated soldier, and later as a platoon commander, he worked on the good of his people and liked them. On the night of November 2-3, 1948, his company attacked the Egyptian Regiment 7 south of the Iraqi-Suwaidan Police, and the attack failed, and on that day it fell on the 3rd of Cheshvan 5709 (November 3, 1948). On the 16th of Shevat 5711 (23.1.1951) he was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
