Haim attended the Nitzanim elementary school and successfully completed his studies at the Ohel Shem High School. In the framework of the high school, he devoted much of his time to public activity, and as a token of appreciation he received from the school principal, “Shai, a memento for his achievements in service for the public.” At that time he was also a member of the Scouts movement and was involved in sports, especially swimming, in the Brit Maccabim Atid Association. He played handball in the framework of “Maccabi” Ramat Gan, was coach of the youth group of the association and won medals and medals. He also played as part of the Ramat Gan Municipal Youth Orchestra, trained youth in “Batei Teshlid” and volunteered for the fire department. Showed courage and coolness by preventing his plane from falling into the city of Rehovot, and was taken away from us by an evil officer, pilot and pilot. ” A memorial book bearing his name was published by the family; The municipality of Rehovot commemorated his heroism by reading a playground and sports in his honor in the Havatzelet neighborhood; At the entrance to the Weizmann Institute, a monument was erected in his name, as an assessment of the saving of the Institute from destruction; Articles in his memory and in praise of his deed were published in all the Israeli newspapers.
