Hoffman, Isaac
Son of Tzila and Avraham, was born on the 5th of Sivan 5719 (July 1, 1959) in Poland. He began to study in an elementary school in his native country. In 1970 he immigrated with his parents to Israel and the family settled in Haifa. Yitzhak continued his studies in elementary and junior high schools, and then completed a vocational high school – “Neurim” – in Kfar Sirkin. In February 1978 he was drafted into the IDF, underwent general training and was assigned to the maintenance force, and his father was killed in a car accident and was transferred to a food base in the Haifa area to be close to his father.
