Son of Heftziba and Nissim. He was born in Jerusalem in 1922. He spent his childhood in the Bukharan neighborhood, where he studied at the Talmud Torah Yeshiva and later moved to Tel Aviv, where he served in the British army and was assigned to the Israel Air Force. He died of pneumonia on 30 Nisan, April 23, 1944, and was brought to rest on the Mount of Olives. He left parents, two brothers and a sister.
