Son of Yehoshua and Esther-Miriam. He was born on May 17, 1936 in Piaski, Poland. He was three years old when the Second World War broke out and the horrors of the Holocaust were part of the family. He spent the best of his childhood with his parents, who labored in the forests of White Russia. At the age of six, he began studying in a school there, and not long after he began to feel isolated among the other students from the peasantry. But he knew how to bear all the blows of his classmates and even fought back her hair – and in this way he won a place of honor between them. After finishing third grade studies where the war came to an end and the family returned to Poland. Where he attended a Jewish elementary school until his graduation. In 1950 he immigrated to Israel and while living in a tent in the transit camp, and without knowing the language of the country, he began to study at the Katznelson School in Kfar Saba until he completed his studies there. He was admired by his teachers and friends and was active in the students’ society. Because of the difficult economic situation in the family, he was involved in every job in order to help his parents pay the tuition, because his soul wanted Torah and knowledge. He enrolled in the Faculty of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, but decided to fulfill his military duty to his people. He was cheerful and always wore a worn-out face; But that did not prevent him from having a serious attitude to everything. He was pleasant and his life was a model for his friends and loved ones.
