Hochman, David

Son of Yitzhak and Malka. He was born on March 9, 1936 in the city of Czernowitz, Romania. The family immigrated to Israel in 1951. After graduating from elementary school in Bnei Brak, he attended the “New High School” in Tel Aviv and began preparing himself for the Hebrew Technion in Haifa. He belonged to the “Aviation Club of Israel” and was an instructor in the Gadna Air Corps, and after his enlistment in the IDF he was a pilot and on the 17th of Sivan 5708 (1958) he fell while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. After his death he was promoted to lieutenant.
