Hiyou, Baruch

Son of Avraham and Hershel. He was born on July 10, 1947 in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. The family immigrated to Israel in 1951. Baruch graduated from the Maaleh elementary school. Worked in diamonds. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1964 and on the 2nd of Tishrei 5727 (16.9.1966) died in his illness and is still in his regular service. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
