Hirschler, Zvi

Son of Penina Pearel and yaakov He was born in 1928 in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1934. The family settled in Jerusalem where Zvi grew up, and at the outbreak of the War of Independence volunteered and served in the Jerusalem Brigade. Was killed in battle near the children’s farm in Motza, and was brought to rest at the cemetery in Sanhedria in Jerusalem, leaving behind his parents, four brothers and three sisters, and his brother Shmuel fell seven weeks after his fall.
