Hirschler, Shmuel


Son of-Pnina-Perl and Yaakov, was born on March 10, 1929 in Czechoslovakia. In 1934 he immigrated to Israel with his family. The family settled in Jerusalem and there it grew. Samuel was a baker and found his livelihood in Afula. After the fall of his brother Zvi, Samuel arrived in Jerusalem and on the 18th of Iyar 5708 (May 27, 1948) fell. He was brought to the Sheik-Bader cemetery in Jerusalem. On 3 September 1950 he was laid to rest in the cemetery in Sanhedria near the grave of his brother Tzvi, who fell in the war about seven weeks before him. Survived by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
