Hirschfeld, Zvi
Son of Paula and Isidore. Born on 16 February 1923 in Konigsberg, East Prussia, to an old Zionist family. He entered the Habonim youth movement at the age of eight and was active there until his immigration to Israel in August 1939. He was educated in Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar for two years. In October 1941 he joined the British Army in Germany. In June 1941 he joined the British army in Germany, and was attached to the infantry company of the Palestine infantry (“Bafs”) On 12 Iyar (23.4.1945), he was killed in a car accident on the Brizigla-Panza road. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Ravenna, Italy. He left behind parents and a sister.
