Hirsch, Elimelech (Carl)
Son of Iso and Sicily. He was born on June 26, 1948 in the quarantine camp in Cyprus. He immigrated to Israel with his parents while still a baby. He attended the “Ahavat Zion” elementary school in Tel Aviv and continued his high school studies at the “Shevach” vocational school. He was a loving and devoted son to his parents. Loving, honest and unbounded faithful to his friends, for whom he was prepared to do whatever was required of him. He was kind and endlessly patient with people. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in May 1966, fought in the Six Day War and completed his service as an exemplary soldier, and after his discharge he was accepted to work in the air industry and excelled in his work, for he was very devoted and talented. He loved sports, especially football and basketball, although he progressed well in a job that sought to expand his education and thus completed his studies for a matriculation certificate and was scheduled to continue his studies on Tuesday, November 9, 1972.
