Himmelfarb, Moshe-Shlomo (“Musa”)

Himmelfarb, Moshe-Shlomo (“Musa”)

Son of-Itzhak-son of-Zion and Tzipora. He was born on April 8, 1950 in Salzburg, Austria. In the year he was born, the family immigrated to Israel. He received his education at the Reali School in Haifa – both elementary and high school (in the real world). From the age of ten he was a member of the Scouts movement. Many worked in the social framework and was active as a guide. As part of this movement, he volunteered for the Nahal Brigade, which was intended for Kibbutz Mevo Hama, where he belonged to the Maccabi sports association and played in the basketball team of Maccabi Har Hacarmel. Moshe was both an art lover and a good literature, but he was not interested in the work, but only interested in it. On the other hand, he played piano for eight years. He was drafted into the IDF in July 1968 and served faithfully and devotedly in the Nahal until the day they fell on 17 April 1969 near Kibbutz Adamit on the Lebanese border. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. In his memory appeared a book bearing his name, which includes the words of his friends and relatives, diary and letters and more.
