Hezi, Avraham

Avraham, son of Said and Salma Hezi, was born in 1920 in the city of Sana’a in Yemen, and he immigrated to Israel in 1949. He was drafted into the IDF in August 1950. He fell in a battle with infiltrators on the 25th of Marcheshvan 5702 (November 24, 1951) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Givat Shaul in Jerusalem. He left a wife and three children.
