When he smiled his smile he could not be angry at him, only to enjoy the love of life that radiated around him. Yaniv participated for eight years in judo and survival classes. Thanks to his persistence he won medals and certificates in various competitions. During vacations, Yaniv knew how to use the time to work and earn money, because he was a master of himself and could buy what he wanted on his own. In November 1996, Yaniv was recruited to the IDF, to the Military Police, and Yaniv quickly found his place in the new base and acquired many friends, and was trained as a desertionist and worked in his position with great motivation, while recognizing the importance of his role. “Yaniv served as a military policeman at the military police base and was a member of a cell to locate and arrest deserters, a position he loved very much to do and wanted to advance. Yaniv was very motivated to give up the officers’ course.
