Hershkowitz, Zvi (Herman)

Son of Yitzhak. He was born in 1915 in Lodz, Poland and immigrated to Israel in 1939. He worked as a laborer in the Lodzia factory and lived in the Agrovank neighborhood of Holon, where he enlisted in the British army and was assigned to the equipment corps on 3 Av, July 17, 1942. He was killed in a car accident on that day, near Yagur, and was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak cemetery.
