Son of Rachel and Baruch, was born on 18.8.1931 in Hadera and finished sixth grade in high school, helping his parents in the agriculture and in the business (warehouse for building materials) and at the same time was active in Zevulun and He served in the Haganah during the winter of 1948, when he was under the age of compulsory conscription, and took part in bold and dangerous activities (transporting grenades in a small car to protect the Hadera-Afula road during British rule). His physical and mental development above his age did not occur to anyone who was not yet 17 years old, and as a result of his parents’ protest against his enlistment at a young age, he was released, but he could not reconcile himself to his home And on the basis of his past at Zvulun he was accepted to the navy and assigned to serve as a naval policeman in the port of Haifa, and the role of a dry mouse in naval uniforms did not satisfy him He participated in naval battles with the Egyptian navy, in which the Egyptian flagship “Emir Farouk” was sinking, and by shelling from the sea on Gaza as an aid to the operations of the land forces in the Negev. . On October 19, 1948, when an Egyptian aircraft attacked the ship, he had to be in a safe place in the ship’s belly, but he did not want to hide while his comrades fought. When he boarded the deck and helped with cannonballs, he was hit by an Egyptian bomb that hit the ship and fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Hadera.
