Heisman Shmuel-Chaim


Son of-Pnina and Benyamin son of-Zion was born on September 5, 1926 in Jerusalem to a religious and traditional family, a third generation in Jerusalem. Graduated from high school and the vocational school near the Technion in Haifa with honors. Worked at his father’s bakery. From his father, who played a role in the Hagana in the events of 1920-1921, he inherited the attributes of the Haganah and was a member of the Haganah from his youth. With the outbreak of the War of Independence, he refused to be released on account of his occupation and joined the Hagam in Jerusalem on August 15, 1948. He fell in the shelling of the Wagner houses in Jerusalem. On the 24th of Av 5710 (24.7.1950) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
