Heimlich, Yosef-Mordechai (Marcus)

Son of Yitzhak and Esther. He was born on March 9, 1915 in Sumotor, Czechoslovakia, his widowed mother perished in Auschwitz, graduated from high school, immigrated to Israel in 1949. He was a mechanic by profession and was drafted into the IDF in August 1950. He fulfilled his duties on 9 March 1953 and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya, leaving a wife and two daughters.
