Son of Zvi and Batya. He was born on 15 July 1936 in Kibbutz Na’an. The German-born parents belonged to the pioneer youth movement that immigrated to Israel in 1933 and settled in Kibbutz Na’an. Eitan studied at the kibbutz – in elementary school and later in high school; Afterward, he studied at the ORT vocational school in Ramla. After a few years in the kibbutz, the family moved to Ramat Hadar where they set up a poultry farm and that was their livelihood. Eitan was a member of Hanoar Haoved. He was stubborn and fighting for his opinion, but on the other hand he had a soft Lev and knew how to devote himself to the help of a friend in all his love for others. From the time he was a boy in Na’an, he showed special love to animals and cared for them. At first he worked as a barber and then began to work in agriculture. Was drafted into the IDF in August 1954 and served in the Engineering Corps and completed his military service in the Sinai Brigade, where he was transferred to the Armored Corps and was driven by a caterpillar from Shorin, and from his first marriage he had a son. When Eitan came to the flag on the eve of the Six-Day War and when he came for a few hours of vacation, he saw a first laugh at his son, but he did not receive much more. Here everything is fine. “On the second day of the fighting, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), Eitan was in Sinai on a tour along the Jebel Livni outposts in anticipation of their attack by our forces. During his tour, He was buried in the emergency cemetery in Bari and later transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
