Heib, Khalil
Ben Fathalia and Mohammed. He was born on August 5, 1975 in the Heib tribe in Beit Zarzir. He belongs to a respectable family whose sons serve in the army. Khalil completed his studies and decided to volunteer for the IDF and continue the glorious tradition of the family, and on April 18, 2001 he enlisted in the infantry unit and served in the Scouts Unit, completing his regular service and continuing to serve in the Desert patrol battalion. His family and his friends in the unit, and his relations with the commanders were characterized by mutual affection and appreciation, and they note that he was an exemplary soldier and an outstanding combatant First Sergeant Khalil Heib fell in the line of duty on August 24, 2005. He was brought to eternal rest in his village, Beit Zarzir He left behind a pair of parents, six sisters – Hiam, Samar, Zarin, Salam, Sabha and Merlin, and four brothers – Elhab, Yosef, Faraj and Duvdevani.
