Heib, Amir Ahnipas

Was born in the Bedouin village of Zarzir on 30.4.1984. He is a member of a family of 12 children, a brother to Tamam, Faisal, Muhammad, Kamla, Fathiya, Nuha, Hanan, Aswan, Yasmin, Anwar and Qassem. Amir Ahnipas grew up in Kfar Zarzir, studied at the elementary school and at the Amal Zarzir High School. During his free time, he was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement in the village. Amir Ahnifas loved nature and animals – sheep and horses. On April 30, 2003, Amir Ahnipas volunteered for service in the IDF, insisted on serving as his brother in the combat unit on the northern border in the Har Dov area and became an outstanding soldier. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in his village. Survived by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
