Hazan, Eliyahu
Eliyahu, son of Miriam and Amram Hazan, was born in Morocco in 1959. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1963. Eliyahu began his regular service in Company H in the Border Police, which served in Sasa, and then signed a permanent order. In 1980 he was awarded the rank of Second Sergeant. In 1981 Eliahu underwent training in Beit Horon on intensive training. In the year of ’90 he was successfully trained in the field of mechanics and minor repairs, and worked as a transport symbol in Company A. Eliyahu married Lippa, they lived in Nazareth Illit, where their children were born. On May 11, 1990, Staff Sergeant Eliyahu Hazan was killed in the Ramallah area in an accident between his car and a private Mercedes that had deviated from its path. He was buried in the cemetery in Upper Nazareth, leaving a wife and two children.
