Hayoun, Yehuda-Chaim

Yehuda-Chaim, the eldest son of Chana and Avraham Hayoun, was born on 18 February 1930 in Jerusalem. When the War of Independence broke, Yehuda enlisted and fought as a member of the Haganah in various sectors of Jerusalem. He was wounded in Notre Dame on the 21st of Iyar 5708 (May 30, 1948). He was buried in Sheik-Bader Aleph. On the 28th of Elul 5710 (10.9.1950) he was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
