Havshush, Netanel

Netanel, son of Bracha and Yair Havshush, was born in 1983 in Jerusalem. He joined the IDF on July 30, 2002, was assigned to the “Tzabar” Battalion, and began his training in the “Givati” Brigade, where he completed basic training. Netanel fell in a terrorist attack in Jerusalem on February 22, 2004, as he was returning to his unit. About fifteen minutes after he left his home and boarded a bus No. 14 toward the central bus station, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the bus. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, leaving his parents, sister and two brothers.
