Son of Lucian and Yaffa. When he reached the army in February 1975, Yehuda volunteered for the paratroopers, and his strength and skill in sports made it easier for him to help with his hard work. He received a platoon and a platoon commander’s course and received the rank of corporal. He was already a sergeant when he left, in the spring of 1977, with his unit for an exercise in the Jordan Valley. On his way back to the base he boarded a helicopter that went up in flames near Jericho and all its passengers perished. On May 23, 1977, Yehuda was killed while carrying out a helicopter crash in the Jordan Valley, where 54 soldiers were killed and brought to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Dimona, leaving behind parents, three sisters and two brothers His family commemorated the donation of accessories to a local synagogue.
