Hassan, Yosef

Son of Rahamim and Sarah. He was born on November 20, 1937 in the city of Darna in Libya. The family immigrated to Israel in 1949. Yosef studied in an elementary school and at the same time began to work. Gradually he was promoted to assistant manager of orchards near Kfar Yavneh. Helped his parents. In 1954, he was drafted into the IDF and soon proved to his commanders his abilities and dedication, during his service he trained in the profession of leadership, participated in the Sinai Campaign, and on 27 March 1957 he fell in the battle of Abu-Agila. For the emergency of Beshalach and on the 12th of Mershvan 1958 (6.11.1957) was transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
