Hassan, Shlomo
Son of Lilo and Gabi. Born in Kiryat Yam on December 14, 1958, he studied at an elementary school and at the Rudman High School in Kiryat Yam, and was interested in music and sports, especially basketball and soccer, Shlomo was well-liked and respected his parents, Shlomo was drafted into the IDF in November 1976 and served as a car mechanic in the workshop of The Armored Corps, with the rank of corporal Shlomo fell in the performance of his duties on the 2 th of Tevet 5739 (1.1.1979). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his parents, brother and sister. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commanding officer wrote: “Shlomo aspired to progress and proved that it was possible to advance and achieve achievements with perseverance and will, and he fulfilled his duty to the satisfaction of his commanders.” His parents donated a Torah scroll to the Elijah the Prophet Synagogue in Kiryat Yam.
