Hassan-Chen, Dror

Mazal Mazal and Yeshayahu, was born on the 10th of Tishrei 5727 (10.9.1966) in Moshav Kadima near Netanya. His parents immigrated from Yemen in 1949. Dror studied at the elementary school in Kadima and continued his studies at ORT in Shfayim, specializing in mechanics. He was a member of Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed, and practiced judo and light athletics. He loved sports and music. From the beginning of elementary school, Dror was a gifted child. He was a diligent student, loved to help others and traveled a lot in Israel. On October 29, 1984, Dror enlisted in the IDF and after a period of basic training he was placed in the Ordnance Corps and underwent a hydrological course, and was successfully assigned to an armament unit in Lebanon, where he served only two weeks as a technician. , As well as the nature of the IDF’s actions in Lebanon. More than once he talked about it with his friends and family. On April 15, 1985, Dror fell during his service while on vacation in his home.
