Hassan, Amos (Amos)

Hassan, Amos (Amos)

Son of Batya and Nachum. Amos was born in Libya. When he immigrated to Israel, Amos lived in Binyamina and later moved to Moshav Porat. Afterward, he moved to the castle of Yehuda and had eight children – two sons and six daughters – Amos loved his children and always did for them, and he always wanted to have people around him to make them Simcha and Simcha. He was very fond of agriculture, planted olives and persimmon, and always tried his hand at working in the land. Because he kept Shabbat, he would go to the base on foot and from there to the synagogue. On the 17th of Tevet 5728 (28.12.1987), a busy sergeant fell during his service, and was buried in the cemetery in Segula, Petah Tikva.
