Hasid, Shlomo


Son of Yosef and Rachel. He was born on May 1, 1949, in the city of Isfahan in 1952. Shlomo was a member of a religious family and the heads of the family were lovers of Israel and the State of Israel, and his family immigrated to Israel in 1951. When he arrived in Israel he studied at the Sokolov Elementary School The ORT vocational high school, both in Jerusalem, he drank with wisdom and knowledge and excelled in his studies, but he loved sports and was a member of Hapoel’s basketball youth team, and devoted his time to sports games. Shlomo was recruited to the IDF in early August 1967 and assigned to a reconnaissance company in the Israel Defense Forces . During the course of his service, he was discovered as a dedicated and loyal soldier who liked his commanders and was loved by his subordinates. On the 7th of Nissan, 5707 (1970), a sergeant fell in an enemy raid on the banks of the canal and was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
