Hasid, Shlomo

Son of Eliyahu and Nina. He was born on September 9, 1934 in Tunis, Tunisia. Where he attended a school of “Kol Israel Haverim” and also in a French school. He immigrated to Israel in 1956 and worked here as a contractor in paving works. Was drafted into the army in May 1959. He was wounded in the course of his duties and was hospitalized for six months in a military hospital and was discharged in 1961. He was injured in the course of his duty while on reserve duty and after his death in hospital he died of his wounds on 10 Shevat 5724 23.1.1964) and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa.
