Hasal, Nimrod (Nimmi)


Son of Bernka and Shimon. He was born on 29 July 1965 in Haifa. Nimrod began his studies at the Deganya and Nitzanim elementary schools in Be’er Sheva and completed his studies at the Eilat Comprehensive Secondary School. In the framework of the school, Nimi won third place in the ground gymnastics competition. He participated in karate and chess classes and was active in the Civil Guard in Eilat. Nimrod was a playful, energetic boy, yet a sensitive and introverted boy who raised philosophical questions about this world and its part in it. His hobby was to read poetry books and even brought up many of his thoughts on paper in the form of sensitive and touching songs, so he collected stamps. Nimrod was drafted into the IDF at the end of October 1993. After completing basic training he was assigned to serve in the Medical Corps, and in the past few months he served as a medic in the Armored Corps School and was popular with his friends.
