Harush, Mahluf


Mahluf ben Masuda and Chaim, was born in Morocco in 1936. He immigrated to the State of Israel in 1956. He was a social worker and he married Rivka (nee Koriat) and was the father of Ofra, Yoram, Chaim-Yehuda, and Yaakov. In December 1975, Machluf joined the Israel Prison Service and served in the Shata Prison as the coordinator of the social workers of the unit, and was described by his colleagues as a diligent, polite and well-versed man in his work. Onthe 27th of Nisan, May 4, 1978, Mishar Makhluf died in his home after a heart attack, and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Beit She’an Leaving a wife and four children.
