Harush, Chaim

Chaim, son of Hannah and Abraham, was born in 1947 in Sopro, Morocco, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1956. Haim was drafted into the IDF in mid-August 1966 and served as a combat soldier in armored units. He completed a course for armored personnel carriers and a combat unit for armored personnel carriers, was an outstanding soldier and reached the rank of sergeant. His family took pride in the fact that years of his sons, Haim and his brothers were soldiers in the IDF Haim was involved in the Six-Day War and served long periods in his unit in operational service, and he was loved by his friends and friends. In 1971, he purchased a concrete mixer truck, became independent, and began to establish his economic future.In the Yom Kippur War Haim was a combat soldier in an armored corps that fought in the central sector of the Suez Canal. He fought in the fierce battle of Hamutal hills, and on October 15, 1973, he was hit by light weapons from the Egyptians and died on his way to the hospital. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery on Mount Herzl. Survived by his parents and seven brothers and sisters. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant.
