Harosh, Raphael


Born in 1940 in Morocco, Raphael was born to a large family, and in 1962 he immigrated to Israel and settled in the Hadera area, where he studied at the school in his school in Morocco. Rafael underwent general training and was assigned to serve in the Armored Corps. After he was released from the army, he married and built his house in Hadera. During his service in the reserves, Rafael participated in the Six-Day War, the Yom Kippur War and the Peace for Galilee War. He found his livelihood in paper factories in Hadera, but his reserve service was part of his life. In December 1980, Rafael was promoted to the rank of sergeant. Raphael was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Hadera, where he left behind a wife, three sons, two parents, three brothers and five sisters The commander of his unit wrote in a letter of condolence to his family: “Sergeant Rafael Harush served in our unit for more than twenty years. He was one of our quiet, devoted soldiers. He has always done his job in the best way, and has done a lot of good to others. His friends respected him and appreciated him for his efforts and contribution in his work “
