Hanuni, Menachem


Son of-Hanna and Shalom was born on July 16, 1961 in Tel-Aviv, where Menahem began studying at the Tachkemoni State Religious School and continued at the Yarkon School and completed the Geula High School, Since his childhood, Menachem has been a sickly, weak child. Every physical effort was very difficult for him, but he did not agree, despite his morbidity, to receive a release from the IDF. Menachem was drafted into the IDF in early September 1980, completed basic training and was assigned to serve in the General Staff as an administrative officer, and he was a good and disciplined soldier with pleasant manner and did what he was told without complaining or complaining. On May 27, 1983, a few months before he was about to be discharged from the army, Menahem fell during his service and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left parents and a sister. In his letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commanding officer spoke of his virtues: “Menahem was loved by his friends, devoted and devoted to life, and his life was one mask of wholeness, perfection in his relations with his friends. His family commemorated the establishment of a Torah library in his name in the Hatem synagogue in Tel Aviv
