Ben Yehudit and Moni. He was born on March 29, 1977 in Ramat Gan, a younger brother to Michal and a graduate of Boaz. Yair grew up and was educated in Pardes Hannah. He began his studies at the Alonim Elementary School, continued with the “Pardes Hannah” junior high school and successfully graduated from the Ort Hashomron High School in Binyamina. As a child, Yair was an active activist in the Scouts youth movement, first as a trainee and later as a counselor. A guy with a special sense of humor, with a constant smile on his face. He was a sporty guy who enjoyed a great deal of fun in Krav Maga. At the end of November 1995, Yair enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces, and later became a combat soldier in the Lahav Battalion of the Combat Engineering Corps, and was described by his commanders as a soldier who performed his duties with dedication and professionalism and was willing to help those around him. On January 9, 1996, Yair was killed in a traffic accident and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Pardes Hannah on January 9, 1996.
