Hammo, Yitzhak
Son of Miriam and Nissim, was born on February 20, 1931 in Tiberias, in the area of the old Yishuv, where he studied in the Talmud Torah of the Sephardim and in Yeshivah in Tiberias, where he studied carpentry to help support his family. He was a member of the “Haredi Youth Association” and was also active in sports as a member of Maccabi, and recently went to Degania Aleph for agricultural training and worked in the kindergarten Until the outbreak of the War of Independence, and then joined the ranks of the Golani Brigade, where Yitzhak fell in a battle in Zemach on 28 April 1948. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Degania Aleph.
