Hamel, Roee

Son of Lula and Moni, born in Kibbutz Ein-Baruch in the Upper Galilee on January 20, 1956. At the end of the summer of 1981, he was called up for reserve service. On September 10, 1981, Roy set out in a convoy of jeeps for a nighttime exercise in the Jenin area. The jeep in which he was riding overturned, and Roee was killed in an accident. He was 25 years old when he died.
