Ben Naima and Salman. Born on December 29, 1964 in the Druze village of Majar, where he grew up, studied and was educated. Born to a family of thirteen. Kiwan attended elementary school and the comprehensive high school in Kfar Majar. He worked a lot in sports, coordinated the soccer team in his village, and made sure that the youngsters were in great physical shape so that they could volunteer to serve in combat units in the IDF, a popular and admired young man in the village. According to his commanders, Kwan was a professional and courageous officer with a high work ethic. He served as a company commander, company commander, and battalion commander. Kiwan achieved impressive achievements, he improved the status of the posts entrusted to them. He helped a lot, supported and encouraged. Was evaluated by his commanders and loved by his friends and friends. As a member of the IDF delegation to Europe, Kiwan was promoted to the rank of Major in honor of his excellence in all his duties. In the course of his military service, he was married to his fiancée Yasmin. On December 19, 1994, Kiwan fell in battle when he charged the force under his command to a group of terrorists who opened fire from an ambush on the force that was engaged in opening an axis in the security zone in southern Lebanon. Kiwan was laid to rest in the family plot in the Kfar Maghar cemetery. He was thirty years old when he fell. Survived by Raya at the beginning of her pregnancy, mother, five brothers – Riad, Hafed, Labib, Adib and Farid, and seven sisters: Najiba, lying down, circumspect, loving, flourishing, sweet and courteous. His son, Forsan, was born six months after his fall. In a letter of condolence to the family, the unit commander wrote: “… Major Hamed Kiwan fell in an assault on a terrorist cell in the southern Lebanese region of Bint Jbeil. Kiwan displayed courage and leadership when he sought to establish contact with the next enemy to harm the security of the State of Israel.
