Hamami, Yaakov

Son of Shalom and Yona. He was born in 1924 in the city of Sana’a, in Yemen, and immigrated to Israel in 1945. He fell in battle in Sinai on the 26th of March, 1957. He was buried in the emergency military cemetery in Eilat and on 8 Shevat 5718 (29.1.1958) was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. He left a wife and two children.
