And the armored corps that established the Gesher Hanegevah bridge and the first tanks that crossed the Suez Canal, Rami participated as a combat soldier and as a military photographer in the battle of his unit to conquer the “Chinese Farm” complexes. In this battle, he was hit and killed by the Egyptians on the 22nd of Tishrei 5734 (18.10.1973) and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery. Survived by his parents and brother. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant.
