Halevy, Gershon Binyamin-Ze’ev

Son of Rabbi Issachar Dov and Rachel; Descendant of a family of rabbis and geniuses. Born in 1927 in the Sinai, Romania, he studied in high school and in “Yeshiva”, served in the Romanian army, immigrated to Israel in 1947. He was devoted to his people and his Torah, (23.9.1949), when he was in the IDF, died of the disease and was put to rest at the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery
