Halamish, Yuval

The youngest son of Hannah and Israel. He was born on May 15, 1988 in Holon. Brother to Tal and Michal, who were fifteen years older than him. Despite the difference in age, the brothers had a wonderful relationship of love and mutual respect. At home, naturally, Yuval was always at the center, and made sure to be in the center even further down the road. Because of his charm and talent, he knew that he could achieve and reach whatever goal he set for himself, and if necessary, he would ignore all who and what might have stopped him. He was mediocre. Yuval studied in Holon, at the Ben Tzvi Elementary School, in the junior high school at the Herzog School of Science and Arts, and at the high school of Kugel High School. He was an outstanding student in the computer track, did an extended matriculation of fifteen units, and even managed to work in this profession. Yuval’s graduation project was part of the “Egged” computerization company. The project included the establishment of driver files, buses and hours. From the integration of the files, he prepared a timetable for drivers and buses, salaries for drivers according to hourly reports, a bus treatment report, and more. This project received the 100th grade. Yuval loved sports, specialized in running and even participated in the Holon race. He liked to cook and try new and interesting combinations, but he was especially fond of his many pranks, which caused waves of laughter among his friends. Yuval’s unique sense of humor swept everyone around him. The song “GamadaTali.txt” he wrote is an example of the mood that characterized him: “Yuval Ashkenazi original original words / stuck to me Vocal / passing through the windows and believe me not Kelly / If I had a grocery store like wood-or-fold I would employ women there like A dwarf called Tali // The chorus is the anthem // A more revolutionary, more murderous world / Deal with my poodle will die So imagine what will happen if you mess with me / And as the wise Tibetan sage said: ‘Why?’ / The life is complicated So do not get into trouble a lot // The hymn is the anthem // The state of skewers and the pickles / The sheep enjoy / The egg rolls / There is a country and there is no cheese / Sovereignty, the sheep, / So tell me from the humming! The laughter that accompanied Yuval’s life did not contradict his desire to be a fighter, and he practiced a great deal in order to achieve the required fitness. At the end of July 2006, he enlisted in the IDF in the “Lavi” Battalion of the “Kfir” Brigade, and served in the “Shimshon” Company in the Paramedics Department, after completing his month of basic training. As a maghist. “Yuval served as a combat soldier in the August 06 Company, serving as a machine gunner, and he was a fighter with all his might and was prominent in his exercises, his operational activity, his will and overcoming the difficulties he encountered during his service in the army. “Yuval Rakem has unique relationships with his commanders, who were captivated by the qualities of his combatant and his ability to devote himself entirely to the mission, he was one of the few soldiers who chose to do meaningful service out of a belief in the justice of the road. Corporal Yuval Halamish fell during his duty at the Susiya outpost in the southern Hebron Hills on June 14, 2007. He was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Holon, leaving his parents, brother and sister. The unit, Lt. Col. David Sadan: “Yuval, you left us abruptly and left space among many of us. At the time when you were among us, you put your mark on those fighters and commanders who were near you. We will feel your absence as a warrior, as a person, as a friend who likes to laugh, make fun of, help, support and carry out the many chores with your friends. … The Lavi Battalion today salutes Yuval’s work, mourning the loss of his friend”In a condolence letter to the bereaved family, the chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, wrote:” … Yuval’s commanders say that he was a dedicated and professional fighter, who demonstrated during his service the determination to carry out his missions and overcome the difficulties. His commanders and his friends, who loved him and believed in him. ” The July 2007 issue of Levion, the monthly newsletter of the Lavi Battalion, was dedicated to Yuval’s memory. In this journal, his friends parted with a poem that they wrote: “Stop … Stand still and feel / Feel the heart beating fast, and do not stop.” / Listen to the quiet that prevails, to freeze in place and not to respond / You can not understand why? You do not know yet, it’s a shame that it happened. / You’re all black, you worry, I do not know what to do now. / If you could stop it / It happened in seconds, there were shots, there were shouts … / You do not understand what happened … / You froze for a few seconds until you understood what it was / You do not want to believe. In the same issue, a friend’s letter was published: “Those who say that time forgets the pain, the pain does not pass, and the sorrow only grows, the questions begin to float, and the ‘reverse’ begins to” talk. “If only I could have done it differently, We will always remember the romances, always remember how everything has become a laugh, how the smile is smeared on the face, remember how you always worried that everyone around you smiled and every moment you became a laughing heart, not a minute passed. That you do not pinch yourself and want to wake up, the album opens and the memories start to float, and again another tear is flowing, and the experiences are ‘running’ in front of my eyes and what a pity, how much Bell, alas, someone wake me from this nightmare. Jubilee, will forever remain in our hearts. ” Nadav wrote: “The summer is over and the fall is a short season, and it seems that it is beginning to end, / Looking at the childhood pictures that you left forever, / It is a short day and it seems that the moon has broken a little early, and so it has been a long time since the boat left the port, It’s hard to adjust, and the night came wrapped in your lost dreams, and my memories stayed awake on white nights, and so suddenly everything was getting sad now. ” “I want to tell you about my little brother Yuval, a brother, a friend we all love, and you have been with us for nineteen wonderful and amusing years. We loved your nephews and always found time to have fun with them.In high school, when you spoke to the teacher of literature, you called your parents to the headmistress, and you tied yourself to a butterfly, And then suffocating him – then he died, but if you open your hand he flies to the light, to freedom, that’s how you saw yourself and that’s how we remember Death. We love you always. ” Yuval’s friends set up his website at www.uvhalamish.com. A website, a photo album, things in his memory, works he created and poems he wrote. Yuval’s poem “End”: Sometimes I say the wrong things / the opposite things / from what I think and feel / If it comes to me by accident / And if I just want to make fun / I hide the real feelings / Thoughts HallDeath / they are moving, they are weakening / I am trying funny but with this there are problems. / And sometimes I feel really an idiot / because I just got out of my mouth. // All that alcohol does / He lowers the walls, He stops the inhibitions / Warms the hearts / And he lets me do what I could before I met you / Not that it is good and not that it is bad / Sometimes sometimes I am with you I feel wicked / Because suddenly words have an effect. / Your, the bad wolf. // Emotional words / meaningless words / I do not know what the beer is about Nesher / Your turn to check if everything is all right. “
