Halabi, Sliman

Son of Mazid and Sanya. He was born in 1946. He was drafted into the IDF at the end of November 1966. After his discharge from the army, he was called up for active reserve duty in mid-May 1971, and a few days later he was injured as a result of enemy activity. Sliman was on his deathbed for about three months. On September 2, 1971, he died of his wounds. During his service he excelled as a disciplined soldier and a loyal friend, and was thus respected and admired by his commanders and comrades. Was brought to rest in the cemetery in Daliyat al-Carmel
