Hakim, Yosef
Ben Zelda and Binyamin. Yosef was born in Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava on 27 March 1963. He was a second child to his parents, a younger brother to Moshe, and grew up in the Neve Amal neighborhood of Herzliya, where he studied at the Gordon elementary school and the ORT high school. After completing his studies Joseph enlisted in the IDF and served his exemplary state as a weapon. He specialized in testing weapons, cleaning them and preparing them for battle. After his military service, Yosef worked in the military industry. Afterward, in 1988, he enlisted as a weapon to the Israel Police, where he held his position with honors for eighteen years. In his last position he was a chief weapon examiner. During his service, Yosef was exemplary in the professional field, assisted in the absorption of weapons into the operational system and was a partner in making many changes and improvements in these means. In 1987 Yosef married Osnat, they lived in Ariel and brought their son Idan into the world. Senior sergeant Joseph fell during his service on the 17th of Av 5765 (August 22, 2005). Forty-two years old in his fall. He was buried in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, Tel Aviv. He left behind a wife and son, parents and brother.
