Hafash, Yaakov

Son of Haim and Raitza. Yaakov was born on the 14th of Tishrai, October 10, 1927 in Chelm, Poland. He studied in a “cheder” and graduated from an elementary school in his hometown. Yaakov immigrated to Israel in 1946 and was drafted into the IDF in March 1950. Yaakov fell in the line of duty on the 27th of Tishrei 5711 (October 8, 1950) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
